YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO HAVE US REPAIR YOUR VEHICLE.
SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND HASSLE BY CALLING US FIRST. WE ARE PROUD AND CHOOSE NOT TO BE ON ANY INSURANCE COMPANY'S PREFERRED OR DIRECT REPAIR LIST.
INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL TRY TO STEER YOU INTO USING THEIR SHOPS WITH SOME OF THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS:
" They Are Not on “The List” "
If you are told by an insurance company that a collision repair shop is not on “their list”, you can be assured that shop has your best interest in mind.
To be on “the list” a shop needs to sign a contract with the insurance company to repair the vehicle as the insurance company dictates. Insurance companies may demand discounted labor rates, parts discounts, and that the shop installs aftermarket, rebuilt, and junk yard parts on your vehicle.
Insurance companies do not want body shops to tell you about this and the shops on “the list” will not.
We are more than happy to discuss a proper repair with any insurance company. It is the vehicle owner that we are here to serve. We look out for you and your best interest, not the insurance company's pocketbook.
The choice of body shops is yours- it is your vehicle- not the insurance company's.
" But We Guarantee Our Shops "
If something goes wrong with a repair at an insurance authorized shop, you are just going to end up back at that shop dealing with them.
" We Won't Guarantee Theirs "
Our work is guaranteed without the insurance company having to step in. This is the benefit of a small business. We pride ourselves in our work and want to set you at peace of mind that we will take car of you.
" Hard to Work With "
Insurance companies will tell you this because we do not accept their policies regarding used and aftermarket parts, and that we try to get paid for the work and services we provide.
" They Charge Too Much! "
Everyone knows that you get what you pay for, so what does that say about the repairs the insurance company would be satisfied with?
" They Take Too Long! "
This is far from the truth. We want you to have to go as little time as possible without your personal vehicle. Quality repairs cannot be rushed to meet the insurance company's deadlines.
" The Claim Will Take Longer "
The ONLY thing that takes longer with a repair going through a "non-listed" shop has no effect on the owner of the vehicle. The burden falls upon the body shop doing the repairs. The insurance companies will take their time paying us and often make us wait longer for payment than their preferred shops.
" But We're on Your Side! "
The insurance companies will tell you this to try to sway you to use one of their preferred shops to save themselves money on repairs that they are supposed to be insuring on your vehicle.
